DESCRIPTION:International Children’s Book Day 2026 is a global celebration that aims to foster an interest in reading among children and raise awareness of the importance of books in their early development. \n  \nThe Kuala Lumpur Library has set up an exhibition booth themed around International Children’s Book Day located at the lobby level. Visitors are invited to capture memories at this booth. In addition\, visitors can also suggest book titles that they would like to read but are not yet available at the library through the exhibition space provided. \n  \nIn addition\, a special reading room featuring a collection of selected children’s books is also provided at the Children’s Library for visitors to read. \n  \nCome visit the Kuala Lumpur Library!

DESCRIPTION:On 10 April 2026 (Friday)\, the Read and Grow Program was organized by the Kuala Lumpur Library. This program was held in conjunction with International Children’s Book Day 2026 with the theme “Plant stories and the world will bloom!”. This program aims to encourage reading interest and raise awareness of the importance of children’s books in their early development. \nThis program was held at Tadika Sang Kancil DBKL\, Intan Baiduri and was attended by children aged 4 to 5 years. Among the activities that were carried out included guides on proper book care\, creative crafts\, storytelling sessions\, interactive games and book donations for the Reading Encouragement Campaign. \n  \n \n  \n
