International Children’s Book Day 2026 is a global celebration that aims to foster an interest in reading among children and raise awareness of the importance of books in their early development.

The Kuala Lumpur Library has set up an exhibition booth themed around International Children’s Book Day located at the lobby level. Visitors are invited to capture memories at this booth. In addition, visitors can also suggest book titles that they would like to read but are not yet available at the library through the exhibition space provided.

In addition, a special reading room featuring a collection of selected children’s books is also provided at the Children’s Library for visitors to read.
