On 10 April 2026 (Friday), the Read and Grow Program was organized by the Kuala Lumpur Library. This program was held in conjunction with International Children’s Book Day 2026 with the theme “Plant stories and the world will bloom!”. This program aims to encourage reading interest and raise awareness of the importance of children’s books in their early development.

This program was held at Tadika Sang Kancil DBKL, Intan Baiduri and was attended by children aged 4 to 5 years. Among the activities that were carried out included guides on proper book care, creative crafts, storytelling sessions, interactive games and book donations for the Reading Encouragement Campaign.
